Oluwadarasimi Kalejaye holds a National Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology and a BSc in medical microbiology and recently completed her MSc in health analytics and technologies at the University of Greater Manchester. Her interest in health data developed from her clinical and laboratory background, where she saw the role data plays in understanding patients and informing care.
During her MSc, she worked on projects including a sepsis prediction model and a privacy focused federated learning system for cardiac abnormality detection, which was recognised as one of the top projects in her cohort.
Oluwadarasimi is interested in how data can be used alongside clinical understanding to support better decision making in healthcare, and in exploring this further through research. She hopes to pursue a PhD in the future and build a career in health data science.
